DOOR SUPERVISOR COURSE INFORMATION:
 
This course is delivered over 4 days covering:
 
Day 1 covers working within the security industry, exam.
Day 2 covers working as a door supervisor, exam.
Day 3 covers conflict management for the private security industry, exam.
Day 4 covers physical intervention skills, assessed on skills learnt.
 
All learning materials, examination materials and refreshments are provided over the four days you are with us, please bring note pad and pen and be keen to learn.
 
SECURITY GUARDING:
 
This course is delivered over 3 days.
  
Day 1 covers working within the security industry, exam.
Day 2 covers working as a security officer, exam.
Day 3 covers conflict management strategies, exam.
 
All learning materials, examination materials and refreshments are provided during the 3 days you are with us, please bring note pad and pen and be keen to learn.
 
PHYSICAL INTERVENTION SKILLS: (Delivered by our accredited Advanced Practitioners)
 
This is a licenced course approved by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) the Security Industry Authority, Skills for Security, Maybo and the British Institute of Innkeepers Awarding Body (BIIAB).
The course can be delivered over 1 or 2 days covering Assault Avoidance, Disengagement and holding. Their is know formal examination but each delegate is assessed through out the course to gauge their understanding of the techniques. The trainer will decide competancy of each delegate and if they have reached the required standard to pass the course and recieve a recognised certificate.       
 
CCTV OPERATOR:
 
This course is delivered over 4 days.
 
Day 1 covers working within the security industry, exam.
Days 2/3 covers working as a cctv operator, exam.
Day 4 covers operation of cctv equipment, exam. 
 
All learning materials, examination materials and refreshments are provided during the 4 days you are with us, please bring note pad and pen and be keen to learn.

PHYSICAL INTERVENTION SKILLS COURSES 

 

One of the roles of a Security Operative is to remove unruly members of the public from your venue/site. This carries a high risk of injury to yourself and the customer, which if performed incorrectly could lead to legal proceedings against yourself.

The Maybo Physical Intervention Skills course will teach you how to physically remove or restrain the offender LAWFULLY with minimal risk of injury to yourself and offender.

You will be taught the law relating to Use of Force, Assault in the work place, protecting yourself and customers from Assault.

The Physical Techniques learnt would be Justifiable in a court of law, making you a more Professional and employable Security Operative. 

 

This will be a licensing requirement for new Door Supervisors from 01/06/2010 and a requirement for all registered Door Supervisors from 2011, get ahead of the rest and earn your certificate NOW!
